Located between Newbury & Swindon on the M4. Membury is open to visiting pilots. The airfield is strictly PPR.
Membury has 5 runways: 3 grass & 2 hard. Limited private hangarage is available.
The airfield was built in 1942 & used by the USAAF & RAF until 1947. It is now owned & operated by Southern Sailplanes, Flight Composites & Aviation Enterprises
Hangarage

All prices exclude VAT.
We re-surfaced 2 tarmac runways in 2008 & as such we ask visitors to pay a landing fee of £15 (£18 inc. VAT), which includes one night of aircraft parking outside.
Aircraft based on site, or those visiting Flight Composites, Southern Sailplanes or Aviation Enterprises are exempt from the landing fee.
No PPR or out of hours landings will be charged at £850, which may be reduced on application, (please contact Southern Sailplanes).
